Purpose and scope
Dhaka888 provides a Self-Exclusion service to support responsible gambling. This policy governs the voluntary suspension or restriction of access to Dhaka888 services for a defined period and applies to all users of the Dhaka888 platform who hold an active account.
Initiating self-exclusion
- The User must submit a written request from the email address registered with their Dhaka888 account to the designated self-exclusion channel, confirming the intention to exclude and the requested period.
- The request must specify the exclusion period. Examples include three months, six months, twelve months, or three years. The User may select any period; longer intervals require processing as a higher-level exclusion.
- Dhaka888 will acknowledge receipt and confirm the exclusion in writing to the User’s registered email address once processed.
Period of self-exclusion
The exclusion period begins on the date Dhaka888 confirms the exclusion and continues for the duration selected by the User. The User may specify an exclusion up to three (3) years. Periods longer than three years may trigger additional account actions as described in this policy.
Effects during self-exclusion
- During the self-exclusion period, the User is denied access to the Dhaka888 Personal Account and to all Dhaka888 services, including advertising and promotional materials.
- The User must not attempt to circumvent the restrictions by creating new accounts or using any other means to regain access during the period.
Termination of self-exclusion for periods over three years
If the requested exclusion period exceeds three (3) years, Dhaka888 reserves the right to suspend or terminate the User’s account and to process the return of any funds in the User’s account in accordance with the standard withdrawal policy, subject to verification under the Terms of Use. A separate written withdrawal request may be submitted by the User in line with Dhaka888 withdrawal procedures.
Restoration after expiry
Restoration of access to Dhaka888 services after the expiry of the self-exclusion period occurs only upon a new written request submitted after the period ends. There is no automatic reactivation at the conclusion of the exclusion period.
User obligations and acknowledgements
- The User acknowledges that self-exclusion is a voluntary action taken to limit access to Dhaka888 services and accepts the consequences stated in this policy.
- During the self-exclusion period, the User agrees not to attempt to access Dhaka888 services or materials by any means.
Data, privacy and communications
Dhaka888 will process self-exclusion requests and personal data in accordance with the Dhaka888 Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. Communications regarding self-exclusion will be sent to the User’s registered email address.
Responsible gambling and minors
Dhaka888 supports responsible gambling. Gambling is not permitted for individuals under the age of 18. If a user becomes aware of a minor attempting to access the service, Dhaka888 should be notified in writing to initiate appropriate actions in compliance with applicable laws.
